Summary
B2G Events is looking for bands to play a charitable jazz and blues concert benefiting Kasem Cares on November 3rd at the Santa Barbara Polo Club.
The event will be heavily publicized, offering great exposure for selecte artists. Compensation will be determined at the time of booking.
The Opportunity
Kasem Cares is an organization advocating to eliminate all forms of elder abuse including isolation through education and awareness, support of social change, and community service programs. We are dedicated to fighting elder abuse and protecting the integrity of the family unit through advocacy, and seek to empower and unify individuals and organizations in having a voice to speak up against violence against seniors to help the aging population maintain their independence and dignity.
The Band
Seeking jazz, blues, and/or funk bands. Solo artists are welcome to apply.
The Gig
- Set length depends on performer: 30 min for local acts or 60 min for national bands
- Backline provided
- Houseband provided if needed for solo performers
Compensation Details:
- Compensation to be determined at the time of booking, depending on artist performance experience
- For newer artists, we can help with a portion of travel costs and provide some meals
