The Queens International Night Market is looking for talented artists to perform sets at our outdoor event attracting 9,000+ people each night. The event takes place on Saturday nights from April 21st to October 27th.
The Opportunity
The Queens International Night Market is a family-friendly, outdoor event that attracts 9,000+ people on Saturday nights in Flushing Meadows, Queens. The Night Market features several cultural performances on a nightly basis. We are looking for musical and dance performances and other forms of traditional performance art to enrich the experience for all our visitors and vendors.
The Band
- Open to local artists and artists who will be in the NYC area Apr. 21 - Oct. 27
- Local Queens NY-based artists preferred.
- Variety of genres welcome, though ethnically or culturally traditional performances preferred.
- Please include in the application what date and time you would like to perform.
The Gig
Details:
- Each featured performer will get up to 15 or 20 minutes of time.
- PA will be provided.
- Please note that the performances are pro bono.
- Artists may sell merch on-site.
Compensation
- Compensation Amount: Determined at time of booking
