Summary
The Queens International Night Market season is almost upon us! We're looking for artists to perform throughout the season, happening Saturday nights!
We're looking for talented artists to perform sets at our outdoor event attracting 13,000+ people each night.
Availability and open slots change consistently, apply to play and we'll find out a day and time that works best for everyone!
The Opportunity
The Queens International Night Market is a family-friendly, outdoor event that attracts 10,000+ people on Saturday nights in Flushing Meadows, Queens. The Night Market features several cultural performances on a nightly basis. We are looking for musical and dance performances and other forms of traditional performance art to enrich the experience for all our visitors and vendors.
The Band
- Open to local artists and artists who will be in the NYC area
- NY-based artists preferred
- Variety of genres welcome, though ethnically or culturally traditional performances preferred
- Please include in the application what date and time you would like to perform
The Gig
Details:
- Each featured performer will get up to one hour of time
- PA will be provided, but no backline available
Additional Compensation Details:
- Please note that the performances are almost pro bono
- Artists may sell merch on-site
