PLAY: Refuge (Chicago)

Local & national acts take the stage at this low-key art deco club with a full bar. 

Superior Music Entertainment is looking for Sonicbids artists to perform at Refuge in the heart of Chicago throughout the fall and winter months.  This is an ongoing listing, please apply and we'll find the best date for you. 

We're looking ahead in the 2020 calendar due to social distancing measures currently in place.

Superior Music Entertainment aims to increase the power of music distribution for independent artists.  We are all about developing artists who have a specific, niche sound.  We like artists with vision and a point of view, we find they are the best storytellers. 

• Primarily looking for Hip Hop, but also open to R&B, and Neo-Soul 
• Artists need to heavily promote the show if selected 
• Artists need to have an online presence 

Please bring your music on a device that can be plugged into the sound system with an AUX cord. This just means a jack that you can hook directly into the headphone jack on your iPhone, or iPod, or any other audio source, with a male-to-male 3.5mm TRRS cable.

IMPORTANT NOTES: *Plug the 3.5mm cable into the MP3 player's headphone jack. *With an iPhone 7 or later you will need an AUX cord on one end an a lightning port on the other. *If you are using your phone, be sure to put it on airplane mode so calls and texts don't come through during your set.
