Summary

Nestled in heart of the Arts District of Downtown LA, Resident, is a hybrid bar, beer garden and music venue that pays homage the vibrant community, creating a destination for the best in craft cocktails, beer and live music. 

 We're currently looking for Sonicbid artists to play this fall/winter based on currently social distancing practices in place.


 


The Opportunity

Resident evokes the spirit of the East Austin, Texas beer garden culture, accented with a high-end cocktail and beer program and thoughtfully curated music experience. A haven for the community, RESIDENT is a reprieve from the urban grit of Downtown, a destination that embraces the foundation of the evolving neighborhood.

This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the eclectic and progressive Downtown LA music scene and build a local following. Local, regional and touring artists are all welcome to apply.


The Band

  • Bands must have live show history and a following in the LA area family
  • We're looking Rock, Indie Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, R&B, Electronic, Experimental, Blues and Soul act, though we also book DJ's

  • Bands must be actively playing shows 

  • Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

  • Bands are able to sell merch on-site

  • All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

  • Acts must have a solid online presence 

The Gig


 Resident is a multi-use space, with a 210 capacity music venue and bar with a 300 capacity outdoor beer garden


  • Set Length: 45 mins

  • General backline and PA will be provided
  • Bands will receive a percentage of door sales 
  • Bands must draw a minimum of 25+
