Summary
NYC is the most vibrant city in the world and October is the most rocking-est month so it is only natural to kick off our series of shows events in October. What happens in NYC during the month of October? Ever\ything from Comic-Con to Octoberfest to HALLOWEEN!
November gives us All Saints Day (Nov1st) Day Of the Dead (Nov. 2nd.) Veterans Day (Nov. 11th.) The Great American Smoke Out Day (Nov. 21st.) the 3rd biggest party night of the year! The Wednesday before Thanksgiving! Turkey Day Weekend and Hanukkah. And of course, December ends by celebrating the biggest festivity of the year New Year's Eve!
The Opportunity
RocktoberNewYearsEve Booking hosts and celebrates a series of shows throughout NYC/Brooklyn and JerseyCiy in small 100 capacity-500 capacity clubs/live music venues, to 500-800 capacity venues.
The Band
Looking for artists and bands playing all styles of music including but not limited to: pop, rock, indie, world, alt-rock, Americana, hipster hip-hop, funk, and just about any music that sounds tight and good!
Selection Criteria: Originality, Performance, Tightness, and Draw
Please do not apply if you do not have a draw of at least 20 ppl
The Gig
Artists/Bands will be compensated based on their draw and guarantees are given to national acts with proven ticket sales. All venues provide back line, PA and sound tech.
Terms And Conditions
All bands and DJs must arrive an hour or more prior to their scheduled set time. Make sure to have instruments tuned and do not infringe on your fellow musicians' playing time.
All selected artists must promote their shows and provide the venue with the proper materials to assist in promotion. 4-5 physical posters can be sent to the venue address (41 Murray St. NY, NY) ranging in size from 8.5"x11" to 11"x17". Electronic promotions should be sent as jpegs between 200 and 400KB. Images must have artist name in center of the image.
