The Opportunity
Viewed as the creative center of Boston's South End neighborhood, SoWa is a one-of-a-kind experience. Performances take place at the SoWa Open Market, Saturdays and Sundays, April 29 - October 29. The award-winning SoWa Open Market draws thousands of visitors from across New England eager to sample the region's largest collection of local artisans, farmers, food trucks, and specialty vendors. Every week, the market features live music, a beer & wine garden, and an incredible mix of vendors passionate about their products.
The Band
- Welcome to un-plugged, indie-funky talent
- Open to local New England artists or artists touring through the area
- Welcome to folk, indie, rock, jazz, and world genres
- No metal or hip hop
- Must have cool, upbeat sound that would play well to a diverse crowd
The Gig
Details:
- 2 performances, two hours apart on Sundays in late summer/early fall
- Acoustic performance preferred
- Inclusion in event promotion
- Selected artists may solicit tips
