FEST: Summer on the Hudson 2020

Summer on the Hudson is looking for local NYC or East Coast Sonicbids bands to feature in our 2020 festival season (May-early October) in Riverside Park.

Selected artists will receive between $600-$1,800 (based on various factors).

Summer on the Hudson is a five-month season (May-early October) of free arts, culture, and wellness programming in a beautiful outdoor venue along the Hudson River from 59th to 181st Streets in Manhattan. This is a fully outdoor festival with a mix of music concerts, dance performances, outdoor film screenings, kids concerts, wellness activities, and more, produced by NYC Parks and the Riverside Park Conservancy.

Amplified Sunday concerts (Sunday evenings in July) get people up and dancing. Friday Freshen Up (Last Friday of the month, May-August) concerts feature solo acts, duos, or trios filling an intimate outdoor space with good vibes. Full day festivals are curated based on theme or music genre, such as "women who rock" or bluegrass/folk.

• Local NYC or East Coast bands only, or bands that already have plans to be on the East Coast
• No cover bands
• Open to artists from genres listed in presenter profile
• Welcome to groups that have a great sound and great energy
• All ages/all audiences friendly

• Amplified Sundays & Full-day festivals include sound equipment and tech (mics, PAs, monitors, backline)
• Freshen Up Fridays concerts include support and DJ plug-in to battery powered PA. There is no power available at this site.
• Sets are 60 - 90 minutes dependent on series
• Attendance ranges from 250 -10000 depending on the event
