PLAY: The Apache Cafe in Atlanta, GA

The Apache Cafe is booking up to 15 Sonicbids singer/songwriters and small acts to play in Atlanta, GA in February. Selected acts are compensated.

The Apache Cafe is a 300-cap venue located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Nestled near the iconic Olympic Torch of I-75 behind The Varsity, this diamond-in-the-rough venue has been a staple in the art and music community for over 12 years. Eclectic art drapes the walls, and live music ranging from jazz, funk, soul, spoken word and hip-hop paint the room every night, giving the venue a unique sense of creative euphoria. The venue hosts monthly event staples such as The Freestlye Experiment, the Bar Exam, Al Smith's Mid Town Jam Session and Word Is Born Spoken Word Night, as well as open mics, beat battles, poetry slams, talent showcases and more.

• Looking for singer/songwriters including acoustic acts; keyboard/singer, duo or trio groups at the most
• Acts must be able to plug-and-play into stage set up or bring own back line (amp, keyboard, etc) 
• Must be age 18+ to perform
• Original music a must, cover songs welcome
• Welcome to Soul, R&B, Funk, World, Ethnic, Blues, Jazz or other eclectic or a avant-garde acoustic or electronic acts
• If not from Atlanta, must be able to cover travel expenses
• Performance video footage is a plus

Details:

• Thursday - Saturday nights every week
• Selected acts could earn a weekly residency
• Sound and lights provided
• Typical set length is 45 minutes to 1 hour
• Time slots from 5:30-8:30pm
• May earn potential future slots

• Selected acts are compensated a minimum of $50
• Inclusion in official Cafe Apache promotion
• May sell merch on site
• Food and drinks provided; 1 comp meal
• Selected acts may earn a residency and/or future headlining slots at the Apache Cafe
