PLAY: The Columbia Music Arena (OH)

We're very excited to start a new music series every Saturday at The legendary Columbia music arena located in Portsmouth, Ohio.

 Bringing live music to the entire community, we're showcasing all age events that feature 2-3 bands nightly. This is a great way to bring the community together every weekend and support local musicians. The Colombia music arena is an indoor venue with a large stage, air-conditioning, table and stadium seating, and a full bar. Come rock out with other great bands this fall/winter and build your fan base at the Colombia music arena.

With a capacity of 800, two fully stocked bars, and an upstairs V.I.P. lounge, the Columbia is the most elite live music venue in Southern Ohio. We're looking for awesome bands to play throughout the spring and summer months. This is an ongoing opportunity to apply, and we'll find the best date for your band. This is an opportunity for local, regional and touring bands.

We're looking ahead in the 2020 calendar due to social distancing measures currently in place.

• We're looking for bands of a wide range of genres that play original music. We love Rock, Punk, Metal, Hardcore, Folk, Acoustic, Country, Blues and Soul acts
• Bands must be actively playing shows 
• Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
• Acts must have a solid online presence 

• Set times are 1:00-7:00 pm
• Payment determined at the time of booking
• We're currently booking 2-3 bands per show
• Full PA provided
• Basic backline provided 
• Capacity +800
• Local bands must be able to draw  +70
• Bands get food tickets
• Bands are able to sell merch on-site
