PLAY: The Red Room at KGB (NY)

Established in 1993, The Red Room at KGB is a Soviet-era themed bar in the East Village that features live music and entertainment 7 days a week. We're in search of Sonicbids best talent to come and rock this intimate club and show NYC what you got. As this well-appointed, multi-faceted space continues to be historical importance of the Lower East Side, and we're constantly in search of the best acts to keep the music scene in the Big Apple alive!

The Red Room at KGB was designed as a communist chic prohibition era style speakeasy and attracts the coolest musicians and clientele on the East Side on NYC. This legendary watering hole attracts the tastemakers and influencers seven days a week. We're currently looking for acts to play the Winter/Spring calendar. This is an amazing opportunity to get active in a super progressive music scene and start building a fan base and relationships with one of the best venues in town.

This is an amazing opportunity for local and nationally touring artists. If you have an amazing sound and looking to gain a wider audience, this is the gig for you!

We're looking for bands of all genres that play original music. We love Rock, Burlesque, Cabaret, Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Blues, Spoken Word and Soul acts, but we're open to other genres if it's good music and it fits the aesthetic of establishment. 

Bands must be actively playing shows 

Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

Bands are able to sell merch on-site

All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

Acts must have a solid online presence 

The Red Room at KGB compensates musicians via artist-friendly door deals.
