PLAY: The Siren

The Siren is the premier spot on the central coast for live music, great tap selection, upscale pub eats and good vibes all day and into the night! A sleek, vintage-inspired space with brick walls, exposed ceiling beams and a bar top carved from a live-edged slab of Big Sur redwood, the 21-and-up nightclub boasts a state-of-the-art sound system and stage. This 3 million reconstruction went from a local dive bar to a  full-fledged event venue.  We're currently booking acts for the summer and early fall calendar.

We're located on the corner of Main St. and Harbor Blvd in Downtown, Morro Bay. The same unassuming Main Street spot that once housed old-school watering holes Happy Jacks and the Fuel Dock Saloon is the home of The Siren, San Luis Obispo County's hottest new concert venue. Since The Siren opened its doors in January 2017, the intent was always to morph it from a neighborhood bar to a bonafide music venue.

From day 1, It's really opened a whole entire floodgate to a new culture in this town. Hosting everyone from the reggae-rock band The Expendables to roots rockers Dave and Phil Alvin to rapper Afroman of "Because I Got High" fame, there is space for artists of all genres on this stage.  Playing the Siren is a huge opportunity to gain a fan base in Morro Bay. Our intention is to book acts that put on great shows and know how to rock the stage. 

We're looking for local bands and touring acts from all around the world
Working closely with local concert promoters we're looking to book a broad array of acts ranging from Americana, Blues, Folk, Reggae, Jazz, Rock, Tribute Bands, Funk, Soul, Blues to Hip Hop

We really really don't discriminate against genres as long as it fits into out musical programming and keeps the dance floor moving.
Our intention is to book performers that are too popular to play smaller venues such as San Luis Obispo's Frog and Peach Pub, but not quite high-profile to fill the Fremont Theater in downtown San Luis Obispo.

Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play


All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase



Acts must have a solid online presence 

Bands applying must have a local following in the area 
Support acts must draw a minimum of 50+
Main acts must draw 200+
Acts can not book shows in Morro Bay 3-4 weeks before or after playing a gig with us
The capacity of 375 people — or 300 during concerts, due to the L-shaped layout

• Set Lengths typically run 40 mins to 1 Hour


• Full backline, PA is provided
• Sound and lighting engineer are provided

• Most bands receive a percentage of door sales 
• Depending of the acts, some bands get a guarantee 


• Bands can sell their merch on-site


• Bands get food and drink
