PLAY: The West End Lounge

The West End is a legendary NYC bar and live music venue with a back room featuring stand-up comedy & live music bolsters this subterranean, Columbia-area bar. Located on New York's Lower East Side, The West End Lounge has a long history of being the perfect venue for any band or live music act. We're currently booking acts for the rest of the summer season.

Whether it’s our top-of-the-line sound system, or just the fact that you want to play in a basement bar on the UWS, The West End Lounge has a long history of being the perfect venue for your band or live music act.  Full bands, orchestras, hip-hop, barbershop quartets … or just a man with a banjo .. all are welcome! This is a great opportunity to building your fanbase in the city that never sleeps.

  We're looking for Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Singer-Songwriters, Country, R&B, Hip-Hop, Blues and Soul acts, but we're open to all genres if it fits into our musical programming
  
  

• Bands must be actively playing shows 
  
  

• Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
  

• Bands are able to sell merch on-site

• Acts must have a solid online presence and a following in NYC
  
  

• The venue allows underage performers and guests
• All artists are screened and booked based on the quality of music and on how many people you can draw to the show, so it is extremely important that you can bring a following of at least 15+ people

• This is an ongoing listing -- we have multiple dates avail  
• Set lengths are 45 minutes
• Sound equipment (PA, monitors, vocal mics, etc.) provided and house engineer
• Backline provided; includes: upright piano, multiple mics, hartke bass amp, fender guitar amp, 3 blizzard puck Q6As, drum kit (please bring hi hat and cymbals)

• Selected acts are compensated with a door deal ($10); the artist keeps 100% of their individual draw after the first 12 covers
• Artists must not book any local shows within 2 weeks radius of the show
