Named LA Weekly's 'Best Neighborhood Music Venue', TR!P is a unique bar and concert venue, offering live music 7 nights a week, a world-class beer and wine selection, a delicious food menu of sandwiches, snacks, and sweets, pool in the back and dancing upfront. Have a brew, enjoy the bands and support the blossoming West Side music scene! Weekly shows include Jazz Tuesdays, TripTease Burlesque Wednesdays and Friday Night Trivia. We're currently looking for Sonicbids acts for the late summer and early fall calendar.


The Opportunity

Located on Lincoln Blvd in the heart of Santa Monica. TRiP proudly supports local artists and is always on the lookout for new and exciting acts. TR!P is known in the live music community as one of the best places to play on the west side of Los Angeles. With a few exceptions, most nights are FREE - No Door Charge and it is a 21+ y.o. venue. The room, staff, and management all blend together to create the perfect intimate neighborhood Live Music and Live Entertainment venue 7 nights per week, complete with a state of the art sound system, adjustable stage lighting, in-house sound technicians/hosts for every show, and drinks/compensation for the bands, TR!P is the premier venue to play in the LA area!

The Band

Whether you're a local act, a touring group, or a nationally recognized band we're for any and all bands that are looking for a more natural and intimate musical setting

  • Bands must have live show history and fanbase in the LA area
  • We're looking for bands of all genres that play mostly original music. We love Rock, Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Country, Blues, R&B and Soul acts, but we're open to all genres if it fits our musical programming
  • Bands must be actively playing shows 
  • Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
  • Bands are able to sell merch on-site
  • Acts must have a solid online presence 

The Gig

Typically there is no door charge for fans

We compensate based upon sales, 15% during your set, so obviously the more fans you get to come the better for all! 

This is a great opportunity for a new act that has never played at TR!P 

All will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis

Headlining acts must draw 75+
