Summary
Wildwood Smokehouse and Saloon is a high-energy restaurant & watering hole offering BBQ grub, booze & live music in casual, bi-level digs. Located in Iowa City, Iowa, we're the biggest and busiest live music venue in town that features the best local, regional and touring acts. We're currently looking for acts to play this fall/winter.
We're looking ahead in the 2020 calendar due to social distancing measures currently in place.
The Opportunity
Wildwood Smokehouse and Saloon is an award-winning locally sourced BBQ and lives music in Iowa City. A sprawling Western-themed bar, we're a popular the most popular venue in town serving southern-style bar food, great drinks & features live bands daily. With daily specials & events, for a delicious meal, cocktail, local brew, and fun entertainment 7 days a week.
The Band
- Bands must have a fanbase in Iowa City to be considered to play
We're looking Rock, Acoustic, Country, Blues, Bluegrass, and Americana acts
Bands must be actively playing shows- Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
- All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
Acts must have a solid online presence - All artists are screened and booked based on the quality of music and on how many people you can draw to the show, so it is extremely important that artist put on a great live show
The Gig
We have more dates available than those listed. This is an ongoing opportunity to apply, and we'll find the best date for your band.
- Set Lengths are typically: 45 mins - 1 hour
- General backline and PA will be provided
- Bands will receive a percentage of door sales
- Bigger acts get a guarantee
- Bands are able to sell merch on-site
- Capacity 400+.
