PLAYBACK:stl is your online source for edgy, informative and entertaining music and entertainment reviews, interviews and news. Since its debut (in print and online) in April 2001, PLAYBACK:stl has striven to provide passionate, informed coverage of artists both independent and signed, overlooked and celebrated. Since its switch to Web-only in fall '06,
PLAYBACK:stl has only intensified its efforts to uncover the best in entertainment. We're like the best friend with the really cool CD collection...and we're sharing.

The rapidly growing site is currently receiving around 800,000 hits with 25-30,000 unique visitors monthly.

All genres will be considered but we feed on our contributors' passions. Therefore, if we don't have any writers passionate about, say, acid-jazz fusion, we're probably not going to write about it. Your best bet is to check the site for reviews of like artists before submitting.
