People Mountain People Sea (PMPS)

“People Mountain People Sea” is a Chinese idiom to describe the crowd but also describe that the festival is a PEOPLE’s festival. The first edition of PMPS will focus on the potential Asian Indie bands/ artists as well as the Asian cutlery art. The festival is the first festival in the EU focusing on the rising Asian indie musicians/artisits and meant to bring very different tastes of authentic and modern Asian music/ cutlery to the local audiences.

Through a selection of artists, bands, and cutlery artists, PMPS explores the distinct cultural identities of traditional folk, post-rock, experimental electronic and other forms of indie music as how they form the new image of “oriental.”
