Pongid Radio is going on its third year as an independent online radio station, streaming music to listeners worldwide and in the 3-D virtual world of Second Life./n/nPongid Radio is going on its third year as an independent online radio station, streaming music to listeners worldwide and in the 3-D virtual world of Second Life.

Pongid Radio will choose and feature one Sonicbids artist/band every month; the featured artists will have their photo on the Pongid web site along with a link to their site and a description of their band. Fans can also rate songs as they play. They also will add artist videos to their site from YouTube per artist request.

Pongid Radio is on the air 24 hours a day, accepting all genres of original music - they play what they like - and they like all kinds of music. Pongid has a mix of rotations: some genre based but some with a mix of many genres, including themed shows and "favorite" shows. They are currently working to build a roster of hosts for special shows and will be expanding their web site in 2010.

Selected artists will gain exposure from radio play, the web site and social networking pages for Pongid Radio as well as from radio broadcasts in Second Life.
