Portland New Artist Spotlight

The Portland New Artist Spotlight begins on January 5th at The Gemini in Lake Oswego, and reoccurs every Wednesday night. The events are hosted by Portland’s nationally touring pop/rock sensation Crown Point, and will feature two to four new artists every week./n/nThe Portland New Artist Spotlight begins on January 5th at The Gemini in Lake Oswego, and reoccurs every Wednesday night. The events are hosted by Portland’s nationally touring pop/rock sensation Crown Point, and will feature two to four new artists every week.



The Portland New Artist Spotlight gives new, aspiring artists a chance to play a showcase on Lake Oswego's most prestigious stage. All genres are encouraged to submit, but due to the venue's clientele, metal and hard rock acts may be asked to play a stripped-down set.



The showcase will feature both solo artists and full bands. Selected artists will be expected to promote the show, and in return for a good draw and performance, showcasing artists may be booked for a lucrative weekend show at The Gemini.



No backline will be provided, so bring your own gear.
