DJ Lace Presents: Positive Mixtape Series

DJ Lace has been spinning records since the 1970’s and has witnessed the birth of Hip-Hop culture. Lace focuses on positive, life-changing urban music and in addition to performing, trains aspiring DJs and teaches youth and young adults about the “true spirit of Hip-Hop.” The success of his website, Djlace2006.com, and his DJ Lace Mix Club, has allowed him to reach a wide audience and provided a platform for him to reach today’s youth with the hottest positive urban music.



DJ Lace has recently launched the Positive Mixtape series and is looking for the best up-and-coming talents to be included on the compilation. The first mix-tape in the series has 5 exclusive slots reserved for Sonicbids artists! There is an additional cost of $200 to appear on the mixtape, which will help us cover production and manufacturing costs. However, this fee will be waived for one of the selected artists!



There will be an initial pressing of 10,000 copies of the CD to be distributed to various colleges and universities as well as to teens and young adults at churches in and around Atlanta, GA. Copies will also be for sale on the Positive Mixtape website. All artists in the Christian, Gospel, Hip-Hop, Reggae, and Urban/R&B may submit for consideration.
