Summary

Against Tradition Productions (ATP) is putting together a festival to keep more farms from banks in central Illinois. Best in Entertainment and Country Metal Music have teamed up with them in this venture. A variety of music and food will be present at this festival as the hope is to turn this into an annual event that will grow in size. ATP is looking for partners and sponsors to get the project going, as it will be even bigger in the future.

Their plan is to start April 24th-26th, 2009 with 4,000-7,000 fans on 6 acres with 6 more for parking and camping. Additional parking spaces available at a neighboring pasture 3/4 of a mile down the road.

The location of the venue is perfect for such an event as it is an hour and a half south of Chicago, 4 miles from I-57, an hour north of Champaign on State Route 45 with Peoria to the west and Indianapolis to the east and Perdue University in between. Kankakee, Springfield, Decatur, Danville and Pontiac are all within an hour an a half as well, plus all of the farm towns in between.
