Summary

Prescott Park Arts Festival celebrates its 37th anniversary of presenting music, art, theater and dance on the banks of the Piscataqua River. Since 1974, it has successfully reached over 3.5 million people through more than 10,000 productions offered at no fixed admission. Each festival is a family friendly event with an intimate feel. The festival coordinators are looking to book solo artists and bands to perform live at one of its 9 festivals that will take place during the 2011 summer./n/nPrescott Park Arts Festival celebrates its 37th anniversary of presenting music, art, theater and dance on the banks of the Piscataqua River. The festival coordinators are looking to book artists and bands to perform live at one of its 9 festivals that will take place during the 2011 summer season.



Artists may submit to one or more of the following events presented by Prescott Park. Multiple submissions are available for acts that would like to be considered for more than one event.



Prescott Park does compensate booked artists a variable performance fee, and provides housing and hospitality for booked acts. They also offer promotion through their playbill, signage, pre-show announcements and other materials.



Prescott Park Wednesday Concert Series: June 29th -September 1st, 2011


  • Held each Wednesday night in Prescott Park, this series features some incredible acts from across the nation. Both legendary musicians, such as Judy Collins, Livingston Taylor and Richard Thompson, and some of the hottest new acts perform in this must hear series.

Prescott Park Showcase Festival: July 9th, 2011


  • The Showcase Festival hosts artists and bands of a wide variety of genres, but who are all amazing musicians and performers. Past performers include Gypsy Tailwood, Jason Spooner and many more of the nation's finest musicians.

Prescott Park Tommy Gallant Jazz Festival: July 10th, 2011


  • The Jazz Festival in Prescott Park is one of the best-loved jazz festivals around. The 16th annual Tommy Gallant Jazz Festival celebrates some of the finest jazz musicians from throughout the Northeast. Past performers include the Jon Wheatley Quartet and the Press Room Trio.

Prescott Park Kids Festival: July 16th, 2011


  • The Kids Festival is something for the young and young-at-heart. They are always a blast with exceptional music, face painting, bubble machines and loads of fun. Artists and bands who play music catering to kids and families are encouraged to submit to this festival.

Prescott Park Americana Festival: July 23rd, 2011


  • This festival showcases the best of Americana artists, including Ellis Paul, Roy Davis & the Dregs and John Gorka. All Americana artists and bands are encouraged to submit to this festival and play alongside other established and up and coming musicians.

Prescott Park Folk Festival: July 30th, 2011


  • This festival features the top performers in a celebration of America's truest art form at one of Prescott Park's best events. Artists and bands are encouraged to submit to play alongside folk legends such as Grammy winning Steve Earle, April Verch and more.

Prescott Park Country Festival: August 6th, 2011


  • Hosting crowd favorites for the best Country Music Festival in the Seacoast, The Prescott Park Country Festival features such amazing acts as headliner Bomshel, Shana Stack & Fastlane, Karen Morgan & Pony Express, and many more.

Prescott Park Rhythm & Roots Festival: August 13th, 2011


  • The Prescott Park Rhythm & Roots Festival is an incredible mix of performers in a fantastic festival. Last year's festival hosted great performers such as Natalie Haus, Alasdair Fraser, Liz Mac and the Nouveau Honkies.

Prescott Park NH Fish & Lobster Festival: September 24th, 2011


  • Otherwise known as the Fishtival, this event debuted in 2009 and is a special collaboration between a variety of community organizations to support the local fishing industry. It's a great event for all ages with games, live music, demos, fishing boat tours, chef cook-off, foul-weather gear fish relay, trap building, fish printing, touch tanks, and so much more.
