Summary

For 14 years, WGIR Rock 101.1 has put together the Sky Show, an unbelievable day for bands, fans, and families from all walks of life. Last year there were 40,000 in attendance and the day was unforgettable.



This year, SpiderBiteRadio.com, 168 Mag and Milly’s Tavern are hosting a pre-Sky Show local showcase on Sunday, May 29th that will start the day off with great music and much more. The showcase, which will begin at 10 am and continue until 3 pm, will feature five independent bands from New England that will be selected by SpiderBiteRadio.com via submissions.



The event will be held in the parking lot of Milly’s Tavern in Manchester, NH. Milly’s Tavern will be offering many of their homebrewed beers and a full BBQ. This is a day the entire family can enjoy without any entry cost.



168 Mag will be releasing their debut compilation CD featuring some if the best independent music in New England with proceeds being donated to The David House (a home away from home for children receiving treatment from C.H.A.D) and Friends of Laurie Charleston (former head of the drama department at Mascemic High School and former teacher of local band Dresden Dolls drummer Brian Viglione, who has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis).



Please note: In order to be eligible for this event, bands must be from one of the New England states - New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island or Connecticut.
