Summary

Point Richmond Music (PRM) is now reviewing applications to perform for its 12th Summer Concert Series in 2013. PRM presents 5 outdoor concerts in downtown Point Richmond each season with two 50 minute performances per show. Concerts are held on the 2nd Friday of each month, June through September, with a final show the 4th Friday in September.

    Artists are selected based on the following criteria:

  • Bands should display a professional level of musical skill

  • Point Richmond Series audiences favor up-tempo and mid-tempo music, and music they can dance to

  • Rock, pop, R n' B/Soul, zydeco, jazz, Latin, Bluegrass, and reggae artists are encouraged to apply

  • Music should be appealing and appropriate to a wide range of ages and a diverse group of people, (including children)

  • Generally, PRM favor groups of 3 to 6 players, though we have hired duos and a few larger groups

  • Music should be live, and played by musicians (rather than electronic accompaniment)

  • Artists from the Bay Area are preferred
