Summary

The Promenade Music Festival is seeking bands for its inaugural festival October 7, 8 and 9, 2010. The festival will be held in multiple venues in downtown Boise over three days and will feature up to 100 local, regional and national bands as well as non-musical acts. Downtown Boise is such a unique and special place and they hope to facilitate community involvement and entertainment not only in October, but during the rest of the year as well./n/nThe Promenade Music Festival is seeking bands for its inaugural festival October 7, 8 and 9, 2010. The festival will be held in multiple venues in downtown Boise over three days and will feature up to 100 local, regional and national bands as well as non-musical acts. Downtown Boise is such a unique and special place and they hope to facilitate community involvement and entertainment not only in October, but during the rest of the year as well. Compensation is possible, but is not guaranteed.


Venues for the festival include Bittercreek/Red Feather, The Bouquet, Egyptian Theatre, Hijinx Comedy Club, Knitting Factory Concert, House, Neurolux, The Venue


There will also be panels of local music experts, including promoters, writers, sound technicians, media, etc.
around town all weekend long. The Promenade Music Festival is involved in many green products and initiatives including printing all posters and wristbands on recycled paper, use bicycle taxis to facilitate transportation, placing recycle bins throughout the downtown area during the festival, and more.
