Pub 1281 : Local Rock on the Avenue

Pub 1281, conveniently located just minutes from Downtown Mt. Clemens, seeks to showcase the best local music the area has to offer. The venue provides an intimate viewing experience for fans, holding 125 comfortably.

Ideally, bands are booked at least 4 weeks in advance. Those acts that promote well and have a consistent draw of around 50-100 people in addition to the venue’s usual crowd are preferable.


Typically Pub 1281 will either work with an artist / promoter to book 2-3 bands that each play one set between 10pm and 1:30am. However, if an act has proven itself to have a consistent draw and be an asset to the Pub, a 2-3 set solo show during those same hours can be arranged.


The compensation is based on draw, with 100% of the $5 cover going to the artist, minus a $50 ASCAP/BMI charge.


Pub 1281 provides a concrete stage/dance floor with a 16" drum riser in the back, two mackie powered cabinets and a 24 track mackie board. They can provide a DJ / sound tech., full lights, house drum kit and mike stands if needed.
