Q Music Big Sound 2007 Artist Showcase

Music industry professionals from Queensland, Australia and beyond will converge in Brisbane for Q Music’s BIG SOUND music industry summit and artist showcase this fall!



From October 3-4, 2007 the city will come alive for the 2007 Big Sound Music Industry Conference, featuring the Big Sound 2007 Artist Showcase Program. A diverse and vital part of the conference, the showcase program gives artists the chance to have their music heard by some of the industry’s most important decision makers.



Showcases will be held on October 3 and 4. Emerging, national and export ready acts are encouraged to apply in all genres of music. Last year’s event featured over 100 artists! Emerging, national and export-ready acts are encouraged to apply. All genres are accepted for the showcases and covered throughout the conference. One conference pass will be made available to each successful showcase applicant (band or individual).



Please note: This opportunity is not limited to Queensland-based artists but they are encouraged to apply. There is no travel assistance available. Regional Qld artists are encouraged to apply and seek travel funding support for conference attendance. A limited number of showcase spots will be available for National acts.
