Summary
The Great Escape is Europes leading new music festival, featuring 3 days, 25 Venues, 80 Speakers and 200 of the worlds best new artists. This years festival will be held in Brighton on 15,16,17 May 2008. For the first time, the Queensland government is providing an opportunity for 2 Queensland-based artists to perform at this internationally renowned festival.
Performers from the past 2 years include Fat Boy Slim, The Noisettes, Klaxons, The Fratellis, CSS, Art Brut, The Cribs, Good Shoes, Gallows, The Kooks, The Magic Numbers and Kate Nash.
To be eligible, artists must be from Queensland and "export ready", as defined in the terms and conditions.
