They will start shooting in March, and start syncing music in May, 2010. QWERTY is being produced by the owner of a DVD label and is guaranteed distribution. This is the director's third feature; QWERTY gathered over 60,000 views in Steven Spielberg's "On The Lot" film making competition online voting. They will be looking for free festival rights and pay a flat fee license (to be determined upon acceptance). Selected artists will be given full screen credit for their work if included in the film. Inclusion on a soundtrack CD release is also a possibility. The projects direct music supervisor will be reviewing artist submissions for the project.

Almost all types of music are a possibility, but primarily seeking alt-country, folktronica, post-rock and similar texture is their main focus. Aggressive intrusive music is not encouraged (this would include loud rock and almost all rap). For more information on the film, visit QWERTYfilm.com.
