Summary

The Rainmaker Rodeo & Exhibition is searching for Rising Star Artists to fill out our Rainmaker Hub Stage Schedule at the festival, to be held May 26-28, 2006 in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada.



The Hub Stage is primarily focused on showcasing new artists across all music genres. It is an outdoor free entertainment venue (included with General Admission) at Rainmaker, located in the highest traffic area of the festival. The venue seats 2000+ patrons, runs continuously throughout the weekend and is licensed. Professional backline, production, and management is provided with traditional Green Room services to all artists who perform.



In its 42nd year, the event features approximately 40 performers and has an attendance of over 35,000.



Please note: Selected artists will not be receiving a performance fee for playing on the Hub Stage; however, Rainmaker is launching an "ONLINE BATTLE OF THE BANDS" with the winners being booked as the opening act the following year. This is purely an opportunity for new performers to showcase their music, with top of the line management and production, in a larger audience outdoor environment.
