PLAY: Raise the Roof Vespers (NJ)

Hello Sonicbids artists, We're looking for the best church musicians and singers in NJ to join us every Thursday evening for our musical vesper service. The Third Presbyterian Church of Newark is located in the heart of Newark, and we celebrate music, diversity through worship, musical programming, and family activities. 

Raise the Roof Vespers is looking for intermediate and professional musicians to bring an energetic and lively sound to the weekly services. This is a great opportunity to play in front of hundreds of people in this beautiful church and for the community of Newark.

This is an amazing opportunity for local artists.

We're looking for musicians and singers of all genres that play spiritual music. We love Rock, Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Country, Blues and Soul acts, but we're open to all genres if it's good music

Acts must have prior performing experience

Acts must be willing to promote if chosen to play

All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style, etc.

The Vesper service will consist of a short liturgy and a 45 to 60 minute set of a musical group, followed by a fellowship with refreshments.

A free-will offering will be taken, any net beyond the honorarium for the group performing will be added to the roof fund (our roof needs to be replaced asap)
