Taking place on Thursday, 2 June in 2011 Randrock is a free festival in and around the Cafe Het Wapen in Vriezenveen, The Netherlands. Starting at 14:00, a diverse program of rock, dance, funk, hip hop, ska, punk, metal and rockabilly pop off the stage. At least one performance slot has been reserved for Sonicbids artists.. The festival will provide selected bands with accommodation, airport transfers, production & backline. Additional compensation is negotiable but not guaranteed.
Confirmed acts so far for 2011 include Mambo Kurt, Mucky Pup, Volbeer. Previous artists include Kraak and Smaak, Pro-Pain, Face the Fact, Ska-3, and many more. After the bands, the resident DJ's will play everything that is (or is not) requested: disco classics, golden oldies, soul, funk, polka, new wave, house, Balkan beats, booty bass, clog dance, and more.
