Celebrity designer Rebecca Minkoff is looking for songs to feature in a 3-5 minute behind-the-scenes video of a runway show at Lincoln Center during the latest NYC Fashion Week. The producers have guaranteed to select 2-5 tracks forom Sonicbids artists for inclusion in the film which will be widely placed and viewed as part of the Fall 2011 campaign. The producers are seeking songs resembling the 50's French 'Yé Yé' style, as well as mid-century jazz, 20th century classical, indie-pop,electro, trip-hop, experimental ambient, alternative, punk, dance, and perhaps mashups and remixes./n/nCelebrity designer Rebecca Minkoff, whose accessories have been worn by household names such as Keira Knightley, Reese Witherspoon and Ashley Greene, is looking for songs to feature in a 3-5 minute behind-the-scenes video of a runway show at Lincoln Center during the latest NYC Fashion Week. The producers have guaranteed to select two Sonicbids members, but may select up to 5.

What selected artists receive:

• Inclusion in a widely viewed film as part of the Fall 2011 campaign


• Selected tracks will receive prominent placement and credit in the film


• Consideration for future placements and opportunities

Submission details:

• The producers are open to all styles but are particularly interested in songs resembling the 50's French 'Yé Yé' style, as well as mid-century jazz, 20th century classical, indie-pop,electro, trip-hop, experimental ambient, alternative, punk, dance, and perhaps mashups and remixes.
  
• Songs with a more produced aesthetic are likely a more apt fit for the film


• The music should ultimately have a nominally 'lighter' or 'upbeat' feel as opposed to 'dark', 'hard' or 'brooding.' The producers are particularly interested in tracks with a 'Quirky' and 'sexy’aesthetic.

Several Sonicbids submissions were used in last year’s video, including a track form Sonicbids band My My My.

Past videos have been featured as exclusives on fashion outlets like Elle.com, Style.com and other notable sites.
