Record Surplus, The Last Record Store

HMG along with Record Surplus, The Last Record Store are hosting a weekly music show. Scheduled to be streamed live on 3rdstreet.tv, the show will consist of one artist/band talking about their musical muses and influences. The band will be asked to perform a few of their own original songs plus one or two songs that have inspired their musical direction.

Selected musical artists will be guaranteed $150 per show which typically last approximately 4 hours (including set-up and tear down).

Bands and performers are expected to bring their own instruments as well as engineering staff. A small mixing board and three microphones are available to use.

The show will be held at Record Surplus, The Last Record Store which has a capacity of approximately 125. Record Surplus is known to be the only store on the West Side that still sells vinyl and has a solid clientele who are always frequenting the store.
