2008 RedGorilla Music Fest

Last year, RedGorilla was an overwhelming success and made a name for itself as the cool, rebel showcase that caters to its artists! Clubs were packed and over 200 artists participated in shows in venues on 6th Street in Austin, Texas. Artists went home happy. This year, RedGorilla is increasing the number of participating venues in order to accommodate more showcasing artists. In fact, RedGorilla will showcase approximately 300 solo performers and bands in clubs on 6th Street, right in the heart of all the action. The event is free to attend and is open to the general public.



Over the years, some of the hottest up-and-coming acts in the world have been showcased by RedGorilla Music Fest. As a result, RedGorilla has received international media attention and a reputation for being one of the coolest showcases for new music. Showcasing acts have included: Earl Greyhound, Landon Pigg, Family Force 5 (Maverick), The Alternate Routes, Dropping Daylight (Octone), Luna Halo (American), Bang Bang Bang (Warner Bros.), The Colour (EMI/Rethink), AutoVaughn, The Randies, Born in The Flood, AbsentStar (Columbia), and many more.
