Summary

 It's that time of the year for local and touring bands to come and play at one of ATL's sexiest music venue! We're a premier listening room for Americana, Bluegrass, Country & Western, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Roots Rock, and everything in between. We're looking for awesome bands to play throughout the fall.

The Opportunity

Located on the east side of Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta's Amsterdam Walk, Red Light Café is a cozy live entertainment and music venue with tables and seating for over 100 folks to enjoy an intimate show with a full bar and kitchen for drinks, appetizers and entrées. This is an amazing opportunity to build your own bill, headline your own shows, and support national touring acts. Red Light Cafe is a venue that nourishes emerging acts and gives them a platform to build their career and fan base.


The Band

  • We're looking for bands of all genres that play original music. We love Rock, Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Country, Blues and Soul acts, but we're open to all genres if it's good music
  • Must not book other shows in the greater Atlanta area within 4-6 weeks before or after your confirmed date 
  • It is the responsibility of the band selected to promote the show and bring a crowd
  • Must have a strong social media following

  •  Bands must be actively playing shows 

  • Acts must have a solid online presence 

  • All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

  • Bands are able to sell merch on-site

The Gig

Details: 

  • The stage is 10' x 12', 16 channel PA, 3 monitors, full house system including stands, mics, DI boxes, etc.
  • No backline provided
  • Cap = 100+
Additional Compensation Details: 
  • Online advance tickets set up and sold by Red Light Cafe (do not need to sell your own tickets)
  • Except for underage ticket sales (venue keeps these sales), 100% advance ticket sales and door cover charges go to the acts (to split as they see fit / have agreed upon) after the venue's production costs have been met
  • Bands may sell merch onsite & keep 100% of proceeds
