Summary
Reflections Management Company is sponsoring the Rep Your City Music Show Down on November 22, 2008. Over 100 artists/groups will be selected to audition in from of judges from major industry labels, including affiliates of Jive Records A&R, Fat Cat Recotds and Wyzemen Records. From the 100 performances, 3 will be selected to perform at Rep Your City Music Show Down, hosted by Rocsi from 106 & Park (B.E.T).
Most genres are accepted except goth, heavy metal, rock, and gangster rap. The auditions will be at 10AM on November 22, 2008, winners of the audition will perform around 6pm on the same day. There will also be a $125 registration fee if selected. There are 2 (two) guaranteed slots for Sonicbid artists, these two artists will not be required to pay any additional fees. Artists will be critiqued on originality, stage presence, lyrics, music and melody.
In addition to potentially performing on national television, artists have to potential to land production, management and promotion deals.
