Revolution Rock Bar - Boston, MA

Revolution Rock Bar is multi-level bar, lounge, and restaurant in the Downtown Boston/Faneuil Hall area. The bar offers many entertainment options, including live music, DJ's, dancing, and a full lunch and dinner menu. All of this takes place in a unique atmosphere, featuring rock memorabilia, rare art, concert photos/posters, a photo booth, and even a 1,000 gallon aquarium tank.

Revolution Rock Bar has featured hundreds of Boston bands, and appearances or performances by nationals like Gym Class Heroes, Chris Daughtry, Nickelback, Damone, Fallout Boy, The Click Five, Hillary Duff, Danity Kane, Bello Project and many others. The bar features live music 3 nights a week. Revolution Rock Bar was recently voted Boston's Best Thursday night by Improper Bostonian.

Revolution Rock Bar features for 2-3 acts on Wednesdays, and acoustic/cover acts for Thursdays and Fridays.

For Wednesdays, there are typically 2 bands starting at 9pm, 45 minute sets. We are only seeking submissions from bands that are Boston-based or have a solid show history and fanbase in Boston. Genres include Rock, Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Acoustic, Americana, Alternative, Funk, Jazz, Blues. We are not currently accepting submissions from metal, hip-hop, punk, track acts as they do not fit the room/atmosphere. We cannot accommodate large setups, and our space fits 4 piece bands comfortably (5-piece max).

For Thursdays/Fridays, we are mainly looking for cover bands and acoustic acts that appeal to a mixed crowd of working professionals, tourists, college students. Set times start at 9pm for about 1 hour. Each act must do upbeat mainstream/top 40 cover songs. We do have a walk-in crowd for Thursday and Fridays, but it is preferred each cover act can bring some of their own fan base as well.

Revolution Rock Bar does have an in-house sound system, sound guy, provides drinks for bands, and heavily promotes all events. Exact deal points depend on the bill/night.
