3rd Annual Rhythm and Roots Fest at Prescott Park

Roots music ranges from Americana to Zydeco and everything in between such as folk, blues, Cajun, country, rockabilly and swing. This festival invites a spectrum of performers to showcase their talents at this one of a kind music event.



The 3rd Annual Rhythm & Roots Fest will be held on August 8, 2008. They are now accepting submissions for performance by Sonicbids artists.



Prescott Park is located on 3.5 waterfront acres in the vibrant downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Arts Festival has a long, (now 35 year), rich history of successfully presenting a full range of arts and culture events with no fixed admission, attracting thousands of attendees to its events each summer.



The primary objective of the Festival is to provide quality family entertainment, promote artistic excellence in the community, and maintain quality presentations of both entertainment and educational events.
