Summary

Get your music in front of Samuel Diaz, Associate Director of Music Supervision at CBS Television Studios, for the opportunity to have your music placed in one of these prime time shows: NCIS, Blue Bloods, The Good Wife.

Submit your best original song and the top 5 plus one “people’s choice” will be in considered for a placement in one of these programs. The selected songs will be announced on the midemblog with feedback of why they were picked.

To Qualify: Only one song submission is allowed (MP3). The song must be original with no sampling, covers or third party material. You must control both the master recording and the publishing 100% to be considered. Direct or unrequested submissions to Samuel are not allowed.

RipTide Music is a leading Los Angeles based licensing and publishing company with consistent success placing music in TV shows, trailers, films, games and commercials. A few recent placements include: Ted (in film), The Avengers (trailer), Apple iPad (advert), The Good Wife (TV show) and Call Of Duty:Black Ops 2 (video game trailer).

Samuel Diaz worked as in-house music supervisor for Frasier, JAG, the Star Trek TV franchise and many other productions while at Paramount Television. Now with CBS Television Studios, he is the in-house music supervisor for NCIS, Blue Bloods, The Good Wife and Common Law. In the 2011-2012 television season, NCIS is the #1 scripted show in the US. He also handles production work for other CBS and CW shows, works on numerous Paramount Television and CBS DVD and streaming projects and takes part in the selection of composers for new shows.
