Summary

Rising Star wants to help Sonicbids artists expand their reach. They work very hard to get their artists exposure and give the opportunity to grow their fan base. We're looking to book acts for the winter season.

The Opportunity

A renowned music promotion company started by legendary promoter Larry Phillips from Rising Star Concert Promotions based in Chicago. Larry works with venues like Beat Kitchen, Sub Tea, Dirty Nelly's, Reggie's Rock Club, Cobra Lounge and more!

Rising star promotions believes in using technology and the internet to get a wider reach for bands. Rising Star has audience participation for Twitter & Facebook live feed events for worldwide exposure of the show. 


The Band

  • Looking for Pop Punk, Alternative and Rock acts in the Chicago area
  • 17+ shows

  • This is an amazing opportunity for local and nationally touring artists

  • Acts must have a solid online presence and must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

  • All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

  • Bands must be actively playing shows 


The Gig

  • Rising Star Concerts shoot sets, MCs, plan, design, market, plan social media events, creates poster design, and print flyers for bands to hand out
  • They tweet and post on FB for all the shows every other day in a different way each time
  • The sets will be recorded & photographed for publishing on YouTube, and shared on FB and TW social media
  • Bands can sell merch onsite
