Summary

Michael Riser, acclaimed performer and hit songwriter, hosts a music showcase at The Grafton in Chicago, Illinois that features acoustic artists every second and fourth Monday each month. The Grafton is located in the heart of Chicago's Old Town right next door to the Old Town School of Folk Music, which makes for the occasional special guest performer.

All genres are accepted provided they can play only acoustic material with up to three additional acoustic or light electric performers (no drums please). He is looking for local, regional, and touring groups or solo artists. He features about 15-25 artists per night, with artists playing 2-4 songs each. Artists are allowed to sell their merchandise free of commission. A back-line and equipment will also be provided at the venue.

Artists are welcome to play original material as well as ASCAP licensed cover material. Performers may also have the option to get a professional soundboard mixed copy of their live performance.
