Summary

The Rivers and Spires Festival in downtown Clarksville, Tennessee celebrates diversity in music and features over one hundred local, regional and national performers. The 2009 festival will be taking place on April 16-18.

The festival has six stages of entertainment, including a Rock stage, Christian stage, Country stage, International stage, and Oldies stage. There are 60 performance slots available over the three days. Last year's attendance was around 30,000 people.



Genres accepted include: country, R&B, reggae, blues, jazz, rock n' roll, pop, Latin, oldies, world, and more.

This year's Rivers and Spires Festival will continue to provide exciting and free entertainment for all ages and musical tastes, plus a variety of food, arts and crafts, shopping, wine tasting, a quilt show, children's activities and much more.

Rivers & Spires Festival started in 2003 as a tribute to the returning soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Since then, it has continued to follow this heritage, with special tributes for the many soldiers from nearby Fort Campbell deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
