Wichita's music scene is blowing up and the Riverside Perk is where most of Wichita's talent got their start. They offer compensation of $50 plus tips, and the sale of merch is encouraged.



The shop is welcoming all genres and returning great performances with great applause and support. They book local, regional, and national acts, and touring acts are encouraged to submit. Bands can have no more than 5 members, as space is limited. The capacity of the coffeehouse is 50.



Music is booked 2 nights a week (Friday and Saturday). All other nights are open to booking, but terms for a performance must be agreed upon. There is an in house PA for vocal amplification and light instrument amplification (6 channel mixer).



Providing live original music for over 15 years, the Riverside Perk is what you would expect a coffee shop to be. Walking through the door over the worn carpet, past the ever-changing local art hanging on the wall, up to the counter next to a large glass fridge boasting homemade pie, quiche, bier rocks, and pizza bagels. Colorful walls and great coffee complete the initial experience. Beyond that is music night, a night that numerous people come to the Perk to see the best in original independent music. Music is the focal point for everyone in the coffee shop on music nights. Come be a part of it!
