Roadtrip Nation: Campus Tour (Fall 2009)

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to Roadtrip Nation. They're touring colleges across America and looking for 2 Sonicbids artists to perform at University of CA, Davis and University of WA, Seattle. Each selected acoustic artist will receive gas money ($40) plus $25 for each performer./n/nRoadtrip Nation is touring colleges across America and is looking for 2 Sonicbids artists to perform at University of CA, Davis Wed., Oct 21 and University of WA, Seattle on Wed., November 4th (one at each college).

Selected artists will be paid $25 per person for their performance and will receive a small travel stipend ($40 gas money). Artists must either be acoustic or willing to play a stripped down, "unplugged"-type performance that meets the noise requirements. Set length is 45 minutes. Artists MUST be from within 100 miles of the college to submit.

The goal of a Roadtrip Nation event is to encourage students to participate and discover their own roads in life based on individuality, passion and exploration. Staged next to a green and blue RV, Roadtrip Nation will pull onto campus and spend the day showing footage, taking roadtrip applications, and handing out resources to students. There will also be a film screening to showcase a local team's roadtrip accompanied with food and a local band/musician.
