Summary

The Original Music Association of Philadelphia, Inc, in association with Fifth Stone Music School and Studios, are proud to announce their yearly original music compilation CD Rock-CAN-Roll. The compilation is due for release in October of 2007.



100% of the artistÂ’s submission costs for this opportunity will go directly to the Cure Autism Now Foundation. Cure Autism Now is a non-profit foundation that raises money for autism research and outreach programs to build awareness and education about autism.



This compilation is in conjunction with the Ride Now events. Ride Now is a motorcycling event that takes place in Philadelphia, Washington DC, Los Angeles and Chicago with development in some other cities as well. The sole purpose of Ride Now is to cure autism.

Terms And Conditions

2007 Rock-CAN-Roll Compilation CD Official Rules and Regulations

Entrant agrees to be bound by all terms of these official OMAP Rules And Regulations as established herein.

1. Each submission must include the following items in order to be considered; if any of the follow is not included, submission will be disqualified:

* Completed and signed entry form.

* Song(s) for consideration must be submitted on either CD or cassette tape. MP3 format is only acceptable via Sonicbids. All material submitted must be placed on one CD or cassette tape. The name of the entrant, matching the name on the entry form, must be clearly marked directly on the CD or cassette tape not on the CD or cassette covers.

* Do not send sheet music or lyric sheets with your entry.

* $15 per song entry ($10 for subsequent submissions).

* Entries must be postmarked on or before August 1, 2007.

2. All genres are accepted.

* Absolutely no explicit lyrics or material that require parental warnings.

3. All material(s) submitted must be original work, written and performed by the artist/band named on the entry form. Submitted material shall not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks or any other rights of any third party not associated with artist/band named on the entry form.

4. You must have authority to make this submission if the copyright is in multiple names.

5. Entrant understands, agrees and freely enters submission under the following conditions: by submitting material, entrant indemnify and holds harmless OMAP (Original Music Association of Philadelphia), Fifth Stone Studios, Cure Autism Now and any and all sponsors, employees, supporters and volunteers from and against any claims inconsistent with the foregoing.

6. The Rock-CAN-Roll compilation CD is open to all amateur and professional songwriters. Cure Autism Now will not discriminate due to race, religion, gender, nationality or origin.

7. For each entrant under the age of 18, the signature of a parent or guardian is required.

8. Entrant is free to submit as many songs as desired. However, entry fee, for consideration is on a per-song basis and must be paid for each song submitted. All entry fees are non-refundable.

* OMAP does not give feedback or critiques to entrants.

9. All material submitted becomes the property of OMAP and will not returned to the entrant. OMAP is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, postage due, stolen, or misappropriated entries.

10. Entrant retains all ownership rights to all submitted material(s). OMAP will not have any ownership rights to any material(s) submitted.

11. Entrant acknowledges that all material(s) entered may be distributed to a panel of independent judges who will select winners. Entrant also agrees to release, indemnify, and hold OMAP, its sponsors, and judges harmless for liability, damages, or claims for injury or loss to any person or property relating to, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly with participation in OMAP.

12. Judging will be a two-step process. All entries will be screened by OMAP; finalists will be sent to an independent panel of judges, made of industry professional, which will select the winners.

* The judging committee consists of high-profile music industry professionals including record label executives, producers, and artists. Judging criteria (in no particular order) will be a combination of melody, composition, originality, and lyrics (as applicable).

13. By entering, entrant and/or their parents or legal guardian (as applicable for entrants under the age of 18) agree to accept and be bound by the decisions of OMAP and its judges, which are final and binding in all matters.

14. Finalists will be announced on August 23, 2007 and winners on September 1, 2007. OMAP will make its best effort to announce the winners at the designated time, but will not be held liable for any unforeseen delays.

15. Winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email. All winners will be required to sign an affidavit confirming that winning and selected material is original and he/she holds full rights to the material. Failure to sign and return the form within the required time period or provision of false information may result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Affidavits are subject to verification by OMAP and its agents.

16. Winner(s) agree that OMAP shall have the right to include their material(s), likeness or otherwise representation of them on, or for the promotion of, the OMAP Compilation CD to be used to raise funds for the Cure Autism Now Foundation.

17. Entry constitutes permission to use winner's name, likeness, and voice for future advertising and publicity purposes without compensation to the artist or band.
