Summary

Rockin for Rise is an annual benefit concert where 100% of the proceeds go to The Rise School of Houston (www.riseschool.org/houston) a 501(c) (3) non-profit preschool for children with and without developmental disabilities, ages 6 months to 6 years.



Rockin for Rise will be held May 21-22, 2005 at The Meridian in Houston, Texas - downtown Houston's newest concert, party and special events venue with a seating capacity of about 1000. Rockin for Rise will be booking between 22-30 bands for next May’s event - at least three of which are reserved for Sonicbids artists. Bands may sell any merchandise they have at the event and they can also request a tax receipt. Bands will be listed on all promotional flyers, posters, postcards as well as listed on the t-shirts, on the website and much more.



Event sponsors include include Hooters, The Guitar Center, Time Warner, Cryolab Studios, The Scout Bar, Sonicbids and The Houston Press. Event donors include IKEA. The Rockin for Rise web site will be updated often with new sponsors, donors and other exciting news.
