Rockin' The Park is an outdoors music festival, which will include live music, vendors, activities for kids and food, etc. Admission is free and open to the public.
Rockin' The Park is an annual event presented by Rockin' Moms at Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos, California. This year's festival will be held on September 23, 2007. Proceeds from the event go to the Rockin' Moms Foundation, which supports music and arts in the community and helps mothers to achieve their goals.
At least 5 slots will be reserved for Sonicbids artists. RockinÂ’ Moms is looking to feature bands or solo artists that include at least one member who is a mother. They are also open to receiving submissions from local San Francisco Bay area bands that have a good following to come support the event as special guests. They are looking especially for singer/songwriters, pop/rock bands, acoustic music, folk, country and children's music.
Select artists will be compensated, and this is negotiated at the time of booking. 5 tickets will be given to each band member for the selected artists to go towards food and beverages. Musicians will also be allowed to sell their CDs and merchandise and keep 100% of their profits.
