ROCK & SOUL Series

The ROCK & SOUL Series features music that crosses these 2 genres and highlights their similarities. This event takes place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at Ashford & Simpson's Sugar Bar. 4-5 bands perform each night. Genres accepted include rock, soul, blues, and funk. Full bands and acoustic performances are welcomed.



4-5 bands perform each night, allowing cross exposure for the bands involved. There's a $10 cover and bands get $6 for every $10 that comes through the door for them, so bands must remember to remind their fans to mention their name at the door. This is a great opportunity for bands with large local followings.
