Set time can range from 30 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the artist. Sound equipment, a shared backline and two sound technicians are provided, but bands must bring their own equipment. Past performers include Gunpowder Secrets, Neon Hyms, Criminal Comfort, and Wayland.

Bands will be paid via a door split or by presell tickets depending on the venue. For the door split, bands get paid from the first person once they bring in an agreed upon amount of people. For the tickets, these particular venues have a unique set of ticket packages available as well. Bands must pay back 11% of the overall tickets on the night of the show at the normal cover charge. Artists keep the rest of the tickets to sell for themselves. From these ticket packages alone, bands have made anywhere between $500+ to $2,000+ for a single 45 minute show. There is also a door split for bands selling tickets.

Only artists from Southern California will be considered, unless they have a solid following in LA.

Venture House Entertainment and The Bar and Restaurant Society strive to provide quality entertainment in LA. Its goal is to connect booking agents, promoters, artists, and venues in the process.
